Michelle has been a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and Massage therapist since 1996. Additionally, with a degree in Exercise Physiology, from UMass Lowell, 1993, Michelle has worked in healthcare and fitness for over 25 years. With work experience as a group instructor, cardiac rehab, physical therapy, therapeutic massage therapy, she believes there are several paths to individual healing and wellness. Through education, self care and a collaboration of other practitioners/disciplines for your best results. Michelle's therapy sessions include a combination of techniques based on the individual and their needs. These techniques include cupping, for deeper fascial work through reverse pressure (no compression), orthopedic massage, sports massage, trigger point/neuromuscular therapy, lymphatic drainage, shiatsu, active and passive stretching and rolling out techniques.
Having been involved in athletics her whole life, from collegiate rowing, marathons, triathlons, mountain biking, obstacle course racing, karate, dance, gymnastics, softball and having three active boys in sports such as football, soccer, wrestling, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, swimming, Michelle's specialty is helping her clients understand how everything is connected within themselves.
